Hi {{first_name||there}},
It’s been a while since you’ve heard from us. Too long, even.
But we’re so excited to finally be able to say these words: Monument Weightlifting has its home.
Last week, we secured our lease at 614-A S. Pickett Street in Alexandria. The crew is already hard at work building out the space to be a one-of-a-kind facility dedicated to Olympic Weightlifting. With over 8,000 square feet, 14 platforms, dedicated turf and mobility spaces, and top of the line Rogue, Eleiko, and Pendlay equipment, this will be the premier facility in the DMV area. We will offer keyless extended hours and a dedicated lounge to work or relax before or after training.
While we’re building out your dream training facility, we also want to offer you the opportunity to help shape what programs and coaching options are available. Group coaching will be led by dedicated coaches, including Brian Leung, Lauren McHugh, and Billy Hatton. We will also be offering clinics, technique classes, coaching seminars, youth programs, and of course, our competitive team.
What days and hours work best for you? What type of programs would you like to see? Please share your thoughts with us via this short survey so that we can build Monument Weightlifting around you.
If you would like to stay up to date on our progress, please fill out the survey above. We will send out weekly updates. Our grand opening is expected to be in mid-to-late July.
Meanwhile, if you are interested in competing in Tough Temple Open (July 11) and need meet day coaching, please reach out to us. We will comp our standard meet coaching fee for those who intend to join Monument group coaching and would be happy to help you out.
We look forward to welcoming you home!
